The logo used for James Gunn’S Superman: Legacy was revealed thanks to a photo published by Isabela Mercede, who plays Hawkgirl, reads at a table. She shared the photo on social media and is reminiscent of the logo used for Kingdom Come Superman.
This is just a logo and may have just been used for table reading. I may have nothing to do with the movie, but I’ve always liked this logo, so if it’s the one used in the movie… great! One thing we know for sure, though, is that this film will not be an adaptation of the Kingdom Come storyline.
Gun also shared a photo of the cast after the table read. Check out the logo and photo below and let us know your thoughts!

Superman: Legacy will tell the story of “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.”
James Gunn also previously revealed that the film will skip Superman’s origin story and dive straight into the meat of his story.
Superman: Legacy stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mr. Terrific, Skyler Gisondo like Jimmy Olsen, and María Gabriela de Faría in the role of Angela Spica, aka The Engineer.
Superman: Legacy will launch the cinematic portion of DC Studios’ Gods and Monsters: Part 1. The theatrical release is scheduled for July 11, 2025.
