Magnolia Pictures has released the trailer for an interesting new French fairy tale thriller titled The Animal Kingdom, and is set in a world where some people have begun to mutate into other animal species. The story follows a father and his son, who go on an adventure.
The film has received many positive reviews and currently has a 94% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. This looks like it could be a really good movie!
In The Animal Kingdom“a visionary new thriller that catapults viewers into an extraordinary world where mutations in human genetics cause people to transform into hybrid creatures, François (Roman Duris) does everything to save his wife, struck by this mysterious condition. While some creatures disappear in a nearby forest, François embarks with Emile (Paolo Kircher), their 16-year-old son, searching for her with the help of a local police officer (Adèle Exarchopoulos).”
The film is directed by Thomas Cailley (Love at first fight) and will be released in select theaters and on VOD starting March 15, 2024.
