Neon has released a teaser trailer for the new creepy looking horror film titled Cuckoo. The film comes from the German director Tilman singer and becomes the protagonist Dan Stevens AND Jessica Henwick.
The synopsis reads: “Reluctantly, seventeen-year-old Gretchen leaves her American home to live with her father, who has just moved to a resort in the German Alps with his new family. Arriving at their future residence, they are greeted by Mr. König, her father’s boss, who has an inexplicable interest in Gretchen’s mute half-sister, Alma. Something doesn’t seem right in this quiet vacation paradise. Gretchen is tormented by strange noises and bloody visions until she discovers a shocking secret that affects even her own family.
It looks like a creepy atmospheric film that will definitely include some interesting twists in the story. The film was shot on 35 mm film and there are also protagonists Hunter Schafer, Marton CsókásAND Jan Bluthardt.
Cuckoo will be released in select theaters on May 3, 2024.
