Matthew Vaughn he is a director who has been keeping himself very busy and there are many other projects he is developing and ready to go, including the Kick ass restart e Kingman 3. There’s also a musical he’s developing.
During an interview with Games Radar, the director was asked about his Kick-Ass reboot and whether that will be the next film on his slate. He said:
“[That’s] which we are working on as we speak. I’m in a weird logistical place in my life where I have to figure out who my partners are going to be because we have a lot of, as you know, we have a lot of things ready.”
He went on to talk about all the projects he’s preparing right now, saying:
“So we have to make Kingsman 3 before Taryn [Egerton] and Colin [Firth] they are simply too old. There’s the Kick-Ass reboot, the idea of which is so current that we need to move forward too. We’d love to do the next Argylle and then I also have a musical that I’m preparing at the moment. So we’ll be busy, but we’ve polished our weapons, now we’re ready to start shooting, but I just need to know which carrier I’m shooting from, which I don’t have. I need an aircraft carrier.”
Vaughn will eventually get to do all of these things, and while they’re all ready, he can only do one movie at a time, so it’ll be interesting to see what the next project is.
The director recently explained that his new film Kick-Ass will actually be the third film in a new trilogy of films, which is an interesting approach for a reboot. The trilogy begins with an action film titled School fight which will be produced by Vaughn and directed by the stunt coordinator turned director Damien Walters. Vaughn spoke about the film saying:
“The trilogy will be School Fight, this movie, let’s call it Vram for now, and then Kick-Ass, and they’re all connected.”
School fight has already been shot and is completed, and the second film Vram is currently in production. As for Kingman 3We don’t really have any details on what the story will entail, but it’s a fun action franchise that’s sure to provide some crazy entertainment like the first films in the series..
