NEON has released the first chilling trailer for the upcoming occult horror thriller Long legswhat stars Nicolas Cage like a sadistic serial killer. It looks like this movie will deliver a super dark and disturbing story. The trailer comes with the following note: “You’ve got the teeth of the hydra on you.”
The film is also the protagonist Maika Monroe (Continued) as Lee Harker, a talented new FBI agent assigned to an unsolved serial killer case. “As the case takes complex turns, unearthing evidence of the occult, Harker discovers a personal connection to the ruthless killer and must race against time to stop him before he claims the lives of another innocent family.”
Cage’s killer is barely in the trailer, but we see him once with a mask wielding an axe, and once with disheveled hair and a ghostly white face. The trailer mostly sets the tense and disturbing tone of the film, but doesn’t provide any details about the story.
The film will be written and directed by Osgood Perkins (Gretel and Hansel) and is said to be “in the vein of classic Hollywood psychological thrillers”, and will be released on July 12, 2024.
