Chris Rock has signed on to develop and direct a remake of Mads Mikkelsenis the film of 2020 Another round. The film is a dark comedy directed by Thomas Vinterberg and won an Oscar for Best International Feature Film.
In the story, four high school teachers begin an experiment and drink alcohol during the workday to see how it affects their social and professional lives.
Leonardo Dicaprio AND Jennifer Davisson they are producing the film for the Appia Antica, and Brad Weston and Collin Creighton are producing for Makeready. The remake’s script was written by Stuart Bloomberg and another writer will take over from Rock. It was previously reported that DiCaprio may also star in the film.
Rock is said to prioritize directing and is also working on a film adaptation Re: a life, a book written by Jonathan Eig about Martin Luther King Jr., along with an untitled screenplay Rock is writing. Previously directed rock Top fiveas well as President AND I think I love my wife.
