Sony Pictures has released a trailer for the horror film Tarot, which follows a group of college friends who begin to die in ways related to their fortunes after reading their fortune. In an attempt to avoid dying, they must work together to unravel the mystery.
The film was written and directed by Spenser Cohen AND Anna Halbergstarsand becomes the protagonist Spider-Man: No Way Home actor Jacob Batalon with Harriet Slater, Adain BradleyAND Avantika. This looks like it could be a fun scary horror movie.
The film is based on a 1992 novel of the same name by Nicola Adams, and in the film, “When a group of friends recklessly violate the sacred rule of Tarot reading – never use someone else’s deck – they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped in the cursed cards. One by one, they will come face to face with destiny and end up in a race against death to escape the future foretold in their readings.”
Tarot will be released in theaters on May 10th.
