The Asylum has released a trailer for its upcoming disaster action film Planetism. This production company makes the worst movies, but there’s an audience out there that likes to watch them for some reason.
If you can’t tell from the title, the film is about earthquakes happening all over the world. The synopsis reads: “A tectonic shift deep beneath the Mariana Trench causes an ever-intensifying series of earthquakes. If a team of leading seismologists fails to stop the disaster, the events will destroy the Earth, causing billions of victims.”
The film looks as ridiculous as it sounds, and that’s coming from the director Monroe Robertson and becomes the protagonist Michele Paré, Erica DucaAND Antonio Jensen.
Planetism will be screened in select theaters from January 26th to February 1st. It will also be released on digital platforms on January 26th.
