Jennifer Coolidge Joins Warner Bros.’ Cast  Star-studded video game Movie MINECRAFT

Fresh off her second Primetime Emmy win for HBO The White Lotusactress Jennifer Coolidge (Legally blonde, A powerful wind) joined the cast of the Warner Bros. video game feature film. Minecraft, which will be filmed in New Zealand. She joins the previously announced stars Jason Momoa, Black Jack, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks AND Sebastian Eugene Hansen.

Sandbox title Mojang is the best-selling video game of all time, with 300 million copies sold and nearly 140 million monthly active players. The plot of the film is still under wraps, but Jared Hesse (Napoleon’s dynamite, Free Nacho) will be the director, and with several names attached to the script, writing credits are still being finalized.

Coolidge will soon be seen as the lead Riff Raff opposite to Ed Harris, Pete Davidson AND Dustin Hoffmann.

Minecraft is currently in production and will be released in theaters on April 4, 2025.
