Netflix has released a trailer for another post-apocalyptic zombie action film titled Hunters of the wilds. The film hails from Korea and the story is set years after Seoul has turned into an apocalyptic wasteland. It follows a badass hunter who embarks on a mission to save a teenage friend who is kidnapped by a mad doctor who is conducting experiments on humans.
In the film, “The story takes place after an earthquake turns Seoul into an apocalyptic wasteland. Don Lee takes on the role of Nam-san, a relentless hunter of the wastelands. In Badland Hunters, viewers will be transported to a desolate but fascinating landscape, where survival is a luxury and alliances are as unstable as the ruined world they inhabit. The film’s images will show a world torn apart, with vast wastelands and the raw brutality of nature.
The film is directed by Heo Myeong-haeng, a stunt coordinator in his directorial debut, and the movie stars Don Lee (Train to Busan, The outlawsAND The Eternals) like Nam San, with Lee Hee JuneAND Lee Jun-young. It looks like it will be a fun movie to watch. There are some really cool action sequences teased in the trailer!
Hunters of the wilds will be released on Netflix on January 26, 2024.
