Director Wes Anderson has prepared the main cast members for his next film project. Bill Murray, Michele CeraAND Benicio Del Toro will star in the film.
It was previously reported that Cera had joined this film, and this will be his first time appearing in an Anderson film. Both Murray and del Toro have worked with the director in the past.
Anderson wrote the new film with Coppola Romano, but there are no words on the details of the story. Anderson previously teased a new film project he was working on and said it was a father-daughter story. He shared in an interview:
“I finished writing a new film, right before the writers’ strike. If all goes well, we’ll shoot it this fall. This time I only have three main characters in the film, that’s all. Few secondary characters, but the crux of the story actually focuses on two main characters […] I’ve been putting this project off for a long time, for years, but recently it spoke to me again. Ever since my daughter was born seven years ago, my wife said I would end up doing a father-daughter story. I wasn’t sure what other stories I could tell, but then this movie came along. It will be the story of a father and his daughter.”
I assume this untitled film project is what he’s talking about here in this quote. We can expect to see many more casting announcements for this one.
