Trailer for the sweet romantic love story FLOAT starring Andrea Bang and Robbie Amell

A full trailer of the romantic love story has been released Floatinghero Andrea Bang (Light, Kim’s convenience, A million little things) AND Robbie Amell (The DUFF, The flash), as well as Michelle Krusiec, Andrea Graduate, Rukia BernardAND Sarah Desjardins. The film is directed by Sherren Lee making his directorial debut after working on the series Murdoch MysteriesAND Kim’s convenience. Lee co-wrote the screenplay with Jesse LaVercombebased on the novel by Kate Marchant.

The synopsis reads:

“Waverly (Andrea Bang) thought she had already decided her future: she would start her medical residency in Toronto after a summer visit to her parents in Taipei. When her plans suddenly change, she takes an impulsive detour to a small Canadian town, where she meets local lifeguard Blake (Robbie Amell). After saving her from drowning at a beach party, Blake offers to teach Waverly to swim, and as the lessons continue, the two unexpectedly find themselves falling for her. But will Blake’s ties to her past and Waverly’s plans to start a new job keep them apart once the summer is over?

A little cheesy? Sure, but sweet and much more tolerable than a Hallmark movie, and just in time for Valentine’s Day. Check out the trailer below and watch Floating in theaters and on VOD February 9th.
