ABC The good doctor will end with the upcoming seventh season and a new trailer has been released promoting the final season of the medical drama starring and executive produced by Freddie Highmore.
This is one of those shows that started out well, but as it went on, the way the story unfolded became less and less interesting. That said, it’s probably a good thing that the series is coming to an end.

The series centers on a young autistic doctor named Shaun Murphy, played by Highmore. He said in a statement: “Playing Dr. Shaun Murphy has been an immense privilege and one of the most extraordinary and rewarding experiences of my life. I will always be grateful to David, Liz and Erin, as well as the incredibly talented – and lovely – cast, writers and crew who made this show possible. Caring deeply is what got us here. Thanks to Sony and ABC and everyone who watched at home. Love from Vancouver… tequila, now!”

The good doctor revolves around the life and career of Dr. Shaun Murphy, a young surgical resident with autism and savant syndrome. The show follows Shaun as he faces the challenges of working at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital, where he must prove himself to skeptical co-workers and supervisors. Despite his social and communication difficulties, Shaun possesses exceptional medical skills and a unique perspective that often leads to innovative solutions to complex medical cases.
