It has to beat the current tenth film, Withdrawal 2which generated nearly 135 million views when it premiered.
Speaking of films that make it onto the list of most popular films: Leave the world behind There is also. In second place this week was Sam Esmail’s apocalyptic thriller, which was viewed 19.7 million times. This means it has achieved more than 100 million views in its first three weeks on the streamer. The film has until mid-February to exceed 135 million views.
Elsewhere in the film was last week’s top 10 Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nuggetwhich landed at number 3 with 14.9 million views, The Super Mario Bros. As for the TV side, My life with the Walter Boys a further 7.6 million views, making it top of the English-language TV charts for the second week in a row.
The sixth and final season of The crown remained strong in second place with 5.7 million views and Squid Game: The Challenge logged another week on the list, this time at number 10 with 1.5 million views.
Elsewhere, Trevor Noah: Where was I? premiered with 3.8 million views, at No. 3. That’s a good start for a comedy special.
