Colin Trevorrow is developing a sci-fi thriller series for Prime Video titled HALCYON

Amazon Studio is partnering with Jurassic world director Colin Trevorrow for a new sci-fi thriller drama series titled Halcyon. The series is based on the graphic novel by Christopher Long Hiding in timeand Trevorrow will help develop the project and lead the pilot.

The series was created by Richard Smith, who wrote the pilot episode and tells a really beautiful and interesting story. The series is described as a “paranoid sci-fi thriller in which the Witness Protection Program relocates families to various eras in time. The series unravels a conspiracy that emerges when this seemingly infallible system is hacked.

The captivating comic blends elements of science fiction, thriller and historical drama. The story revolves around the intriguing concept of time travel, in which a secret government agency discovers a way to send agents back in time to hide witnesses in need of protection.

The story takes audiences on an emotional journey through different eras, from the American Civil War to the Roaring Twenties, with each period offering unique challenges and dangers.

Davey Holmes (Become Shorty, without shame) will serve as showrunner and executive producer. I love the concept of this story, and if done right, it could make a great series!
