There’s a huge bidding war going on right now with seven major movie studios and streamers vying to grab the rights to an upcoming action comedy starring Ryan Reynolds. The film is produced by Reynolds and Simone Kinbergwhich had previously produced the first two Dead Pool movies, as well as Logan, Star Wars: Rebelsand more.
Dana Fox he wrote the film’s screenplay and has written it before Couple retreat, CruellaAND The lost city, so it has a solid background in action comedy and solid storytelling. All we know for now is that the presentation is described as a high-concept ensemble action comedy, with Reynolds in the lead.
The matter will likely be resolved early next week and it will be a huge seven-figure deal – an unusual haul for a proposition. Stay tuned for more information as the project develops.
