Drafthouse Films has released a trailer for a beautiful apocalyptic and supernatural horror film titled Everyone will burn. The film centers on a mysterious girl with supernatural powers who is believed to be the one who announces the end of the world. It seems like a well made film that tells an interesting, crazy and dark story.
Everyone will burn followed by María José (Macarena Gomez), “an exception in her small Spanish town, which is mourning the suicide of her young son. While she herself is on the verge of suicide, she meets a mysterious young girl (Sofia Garcia) encrusted with earth. It is soon revealed that the girl has telekinetic powers and may be the harbinger of the apocalyptic prophecy that exists in the city’s legend. Despite her propensity for violence, María José feels an immediate kinship with the girl because she, like her late son, suffers from dwarfism – and the two of them face the vitriolic community that wants to nip the potential hellish scenario in the bud .
The film was directed and co-written by David Hebrero, who also served as the director of photography. It’s also in the cast Rodolfo Sancho, Ana Milano, Rubén Ochhandiano, German Torres, Ella Kweku, Raquel Lobeloswith Fernando Cayo AND Saturnino Garcia. Hebrero co-wrote the screenplay with Javier Kiran.
Everyone Will Burn opens in select theaters on December 1st and will be available digitally on December 5th.
