Gkids has released the final trailer for Hayao Miyazakithe anime movie The boy and the heron. I recently saw a screening of this film and it is another animated masterpiece from Miyazaki. This is a really well made film with a very touching story that will make your heart swell. Studio Ghibli fans will love it.
In the film: “Through encounters with his friends and uncle, the story follows the psychological development of a teenager. He enters a magical world with a talking gray heron after finding an abandoned tower in his new town.
The film boasts an impressive voice cast, which includes Cristiano Balla, Dave Battista, Gemma Chan, Willem Dafoe, Karen Fukuhara, Marco Hamill, Robert Pattinson AND Florence Pugh.
Bale will play the role of Shoichi Maki, Bautista will play The Parakeet King, Chan will play Natsuko, Dafoe will voice Noble Pelican, Fukuhara will play Lady Himi, Hamill will play Granduncle, Pattinson will play The Gray Heron and Pugh will play Kiriko. Luca Padovan also joined as Mahito Maki. Mamoudou Athie, Tony Revolori AND Dan Stevens they are described as Parakeets.
