New trailers released for Zack Snyder’s sci-fi action film REBEL MOON: PART ONE: A CHILD OF FIRE

Netflix has released four new trailers and a featurette for Zack Snyderthe upcoming sci-fi action epic, Rebel Moon – Part One: The Child of Fire. One of the trailers also focuses on the characters in the story. This is the first of two films inspired by classic films such as Star Wars, Seven Samurai, The Dirty DozenAND The Magnificent Seven. I’ve also included a collection of character posters.

These promotional spots have been shared online following their debut on the Netflix app, and offer some great new footage as Kora prepares to assemble a crew of outlaws and warriors to help defend her adopted planet from the tyrannical forces of the Motherworld.

The film’s featurette features an interview with Snyder talking about the film and his vision for telling this story. The film’s synopsis reads:

“After crash-landing on a moon in the far reaches of the universe, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a stranger with a mysterious past, begins a new life in a peaceful peasant settlement. But he soon becomes their only hope for survival when the tyrannical regent Balisarius (Brother Fee) and his cruel emissary, Admiral Noble (Ed Skrein), discover that the farmers have unwittingly sold their crops to the Bloodaxes (Cleopatra Colemann AND Ray Fisher) – leader of a ferocious group of rebels hunted by the Motherworld.”

“The task of finding fighters who would risk their lives to defend the people of Veldt, Kora and Gunnar (Michiel Huisman), a tender farmer naive to the reality of war, travels to different worlds in search of the Bloodaxes and brings together a small band of warriors who share a common need for redemption along the way: Kai (Charlie Hunnam), a pilot and a hired gun; General Tito (Djimon Hounsou), a legendary commander; Nemesis (Bae Doona), a master swordsman; Tarak (Staz Nair), a prisoner with a royal past; and Milius (E. Duffy), a resistance fighter. Returning to Veldt, Jimmy (voiced by Anthony Hopkins), an ancient mechanized protector hidden behind the scenes, awakens with a new purpose. But the newly formed revolutionaries must learn to trust each other and fight in unison before the armies of Mother Earth come to destroy them all.”
