Broadway box office revenue fell 7% in the week before Thanksgiving, with the 29 shows grossing a total of $27,060,113.
Attendance for the week ending November 19 was 228,423, about 86% of capacity and 3% less than the previous week. The number of visitors is currently 12% lower than the previous year.
Box office receipts declined for most productions including harmony in the first full week of performances after the opening. The Barry Manilow-Bruce Sussman musical at Barrymore fell $18,483 to $625,411.
Lots of spamwith four previews and four regular performances – many press seats and opening compositions – went from $74,565 to $678,666 at the St. James rose.
