Matt LeBlanc took to social media to honor his Friends co-star and late “brother” Matthew Perry. As you can imagine, Perry’s death was extremely difficult for those who were close to him and knew him best.
LeBlanc, who played Joey Tribbiani on the fan-favorite NBC sitcom, described his time with Perry as “one of my favorite moments [his] life.” He also shared some photos of them together on Friends where they played the roles of best friends over the course of ten seasons. LeBlanc said:
“Matteo. It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to you. The moments we spent together are honestly some of the favorite moments of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and call you friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I will not forget you Never. Never. Spread your wings and fly brother, you’re finally free. Much love. And I guess you keep the $20 you owe me.”
Perry and LeBlanc acted Friends next to Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa KudrowAND David Schwimmer. It is extremely heartbreaking that Perry is no longer with us. It certainly brought us some great entertainment and some fun laughs.
