Netflix has released a preview clip of its upcoming epic sci-fi series 3 Body problem. This series was developed by the creative team behind HBO game of Thrones, David Benioff AND DB Weiss. This really looks like an amazing sight!
The clip features Jack (John Bradley) is introduced to a mysterious device that allows individuals to transport themselves to another dimension. While he is enjoying the experience, a woman catches him as he brandishes a sword telling him that she wasn’t invited as she strikes him.
In the series: “A young woman’s fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time to a group of brilliant modern-day scientists. As the laws of nature unfold before their eyes, five former colleagues reunite to face the greatest threat in the history of mankind.
The series is also the protagonist Jess Hong, Benedict Wong, Eiza Gonzalez, Jovan Adepo, Alex SharpSaamer Usmani, Liam Cunningham, Rosalind Chao, Jonathan Price, Marlo Kelly, Shimooka Sea, Ben Schnetzer AND Zine Tseng.
Ryan Johnson, Brad PittAND Rosamund Pike also serve as producers of the series. Benioff, Weiss and Alexander Woo wrote the series and serve as showrunners.
The eight-episode series is based on the book series by Cixin Liu and will cover all three books in the trilogy, which include The Three-Body Problem, The Dark Forest and Death’s End.
The books tell the story of what happens “when humanity discovers that it is not alone in the universe and prepares for the arrival of an alien force from a distant and inhospitable world. The title refers to the aliens’ star system, which has three stars orbiting each other in such a way that an Earth-like planet between them continues to suffer from extremes of hot and cold temperatures, repeatedly wiping out its intelligent civilizations.
