“‘Oppenheimer’ Sets Pre-Thanksgiving DVD and Digital Release Date”

Christopher Nolan’s third highest grossing film of the year Oppenheimer ($942 million) arrives November 21 on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and digital. And boy, are there a lot of extras.

About three hours on the DVD. It also includes the world premiere of “The Story of Our Time: The Making of.” Oppenheimer“, a compelling 70+ minute piece featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and in-depth interviews with Nolan and his creative collaborators, providing an in-depth look at the process, performances, effects, music and artistry of the photo. Additional features include NBC News’ companion documentary “To End All War: Oppenheimer and the Atomic Bomb” and a “Trinity Anniversary Panel Discussion” with a panel moderated by Emmy Award-winning journalist Chuck Todd and Nobel Prize winner Nolan Dr. .chicken throne; world-renowned physicist Dr. Carlo Rovelli; Dr. Thom Mason, director of Los Alamos National Laboratory; and Kai Bird, the Pulitzer Prize-winning co-author of American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy by J. Robert Oppenheimer, on which the film is based. There is also the featurette “Innovations in Film: 65mm Black and White Film.” Oppenheimer in which FotoKem opens the door to its film laboratories, where new technologies were invented for the use of 65mm color and black and white film to visualize the epic’s dual timelines as the format was further advanced.

Oppenheimer With Cillian Murphy in the title role, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett and Casey Affleck, Rami Malek and Kenneth Branagh.

Oppenheimer was produced by Emma Thomas, Charles Roven and Nolan. Nolan’s films, incl Oppenheimer, basic principle, Dunkirk, Interstellar, start And The dark knight trilogy, grossed more than $6 billion at the global box office and received 11 Oscars and 36 nominations, including two nominations for Best Picture.
