National Geographic is getting in on the game Top Gun hype as they have ordered a new documentary series titled Top Gun: The Next Generation. The series will follow a group of officers in the advanced flight training program as they strive to become elite fighter pilots.
The pilots “will conduct flight tests including landing on an aircraft carrier at sea and it will all be told through a series of Navy student pilots, following them in flight, in class, off base and home before some of them arrive.” to fly the F-35C Lightning II.”
When I was in my early twenties I almost joined the Navy because I wanted to be a pilot. However I never completed it and now this is what I do for a living. The journey of life is strange. But this is the kind of show I would love to watch.

The series was created by Karen Edwardswho serves as the showrunner and is the executive producer of Tanya Shaw. Lana Salah he is the director of the series.
