There are a lot of crazy rumors about the Marvel Studios cast Deadpool 3. It is said that many characters and actors will appear in this film, but at the moment most of these reports have not been confirmed. One of the big rumors right now is about Taylor Swift taking on the role of Dazzler.
Swift is one of the hottest names right now and people want to know if this rumor is true or not. Well, during a recent interview with The Wrap, director Shawn Levy he was asked about the rumor, but was only willing to be coy about it. Speaking about Swift’s fans, he said, “They’re definitely loud,” and then addressed her voice by saying:
“I’m going over the edge. “No comment” because it’s a double whammy. This is related to Taylor. And it’s tied to the MCU. I’m not stupid. You’ll have to wait and see.”
Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has previously spoken about his collaboration with Taylor Swift, saying: “I would do anything for that woman. She is a genius. Then Levy recently compared Swift to Steven Spielberg and said she would make an “exceptional director”. Sounds like they would bring her on board if it was something they wanted to do. But we’ll see.
As for the release date, Deadpool 3 is currently scheduled to hit theaters on May 3, 2024, but due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, Levy believes the release date is in jeopardy. When asked about the release date, he said:
“I would like to know. I don’t even know if we have it officially [a release date]. I know we would have made it to May 3rd. The actors’ strike and the long pause in production certainly put that release date at serious risk. We shot half the film. I edited half the film. We can’t wait to get back to work and release this film next year.
The cast confirmed for Deadpool 3 includes Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Emma Corrin like the bad guy, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic like Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggam in the role of blind Al. They are united by Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsuna will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio. This had already been confirmed Jennifer Garner she will return as Elektra in the film.
Alleged casting includes Brian Cox as William Striker, Halle Berry like Storm, Owen Wilson like Mobius, Famke Jensen as Jean Grey, Lewis Tan as Shatterstar, Channing Tatum in the role of Gambetto, Ben Affleck as Daredevil, Taylor Swift as Dazzler, Taron Edgerton like a different Wolverine, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Tara Strong in the role of Miss Minutes, Tom Hiddleston like Loki, Dafne Keen in the role of Laura Howlett alias X23, Rebecca Romijn in the role of Corvo, Julian McMahon as Doctor Doom, Patrick Stewart as Professor Ian McKellen as Magneto. James Marsden he could return to play Cyclops, together with Liev Schreiber like Sabertooth, Daniel Radcliffe as Wolverine, Dafne Keen like X-23 e Channing Tatum like Gambit.
