Rick and Morty officially announced the new voice actors who replaced them Justin Roiland as the two main entries in the hit animated series. The reveal came with the extremely entertaining Season 7 premiere.
So for all you curious people out there, the new voice of Rick Sanchez is Ian Cardoni and Morty’s new voice is Harry Belden. Then, of course, there was Mr. Poopybutthole, voiced by the actor John Allen.
As you can imagine, many fans are not happy with the new rumors and have lashed out on social media. Even though the rumors bothered me, I still enjoyed the season seven premiere of Rick and Morty, the crazy writing and crazy stories still feel strong. However, not everyone hears voices!

@RickandMorty @adultswim The new voices for Rick, Morty and the supporting characters voiced by Justin Roiland sound awful. Especially Mr. Filthy Asshole. Why ruin the show like this? Just end it or figure out how to get Justin back.

Rick and Morty are so fucking back! The season 7 premiere was the funniest thing I’ve seen in a LONG time! Obviously it will take some time to get used to the new voices, but overall they are doing a great job. I’m excited to see where this season goes!

The new version of Rick & Morty is off to a pretty good start. I didn’t notice any difference with the R&M vocals on this ep. I’m not sure if he’s still Justin for this episode or not. Otherwise, the new voice actors are doing a great job so far, good casting.

Watching this new episode of Rick & Morty, the new character voices doing a really, VERY good job, it feels like Roiland himself
But the other characters he voices also have new ones and don’t sound as good. (Looking at you, the new voice of Mr. Poopy Butthole)
