Will Princess Leia appear in the final episode of STAR WARS: AHSOKA? Do you think she should?

There was a fun and unexpected cameo from a Star Wars legacy character in episode 7 of Star Wars: Ahsoka, titled “Dreams and Madness,” that cameo has fans talking about the possibility of seeing Princess Leia appear in the season’s final episode. If you haven’t watched “Dreams and Madness” yet, there are spoilers ahead.

The episode begins with Mary Elizabeth WinsteadHera finds herself before a military tribunal where she is forced to answer for her decision to embark on a mission to save Ahsoka and Sabine from Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati. This whole thing isn’t going well for her, and the New Republic council is trying to court-martial her for her actions.

Just as they are about to make the decision to discipline her, C-3PO arrives! He enters interrupting the court to deliver a message… a message from none other than Senator Leia Organa.

C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels returned to reprise the voice of the fan-favorite droid, which was pretty awesome! Leia scolded Senator Xiono for holding a vote without her, and in doing so protected Hera. C-3PO stated, “Senator Organa is willing to overlook this misstep, but she requests that any additional concerns be addressed directly to her in her role as leader of the Defense Council.”

It was a great little moment. The question is: did this scene mark Liea’s return in the show’s big season finale!? This is what many fans speculate. A fan on Reddit said: “I have this weird feeling that we’re gearing up for a big thing in the next episode in these shows’ future – that thing will be Leia’s return. It feels impossible to do things this time around without her, especially when things are happening with the New Republic. He has a history with most of these characters anyway and they mentioned her offhandedly and now they mention her directly and they even had Threepio in this episode.”

Another fan speculated that Leia will be played by a new actor who may then play “a supporting role in upcoming series and films.” Someone went on to say, “I would like to see it the way they saw it there Rogue One Self Billie Lourd and the like have signed on or simply asked someone new to play the role.

While many fans would love to see Leia return, and one fan shared, “There’s no reason for her not to appear. This is getting silly. Star Wars Without Luke, Leia and Han I just don’t feel good Star Wars. It’s been too long.”

So, I have two questions for you… do you think Leia was meant to appear in the season finale of? Ahsoka? The other question I have is: do you think it should?

Moving forward with this storyline during this era, it would make sense to bring it back at some point. Lucasfilm has already done this once, so I don’t think they would have any reservations about doing it again. I just don’t know when it will happen. What do you think!?
