It turned out that the actress early became interested in external transformations.

In the USSR, things were completely different in the beauty industry than in other countries. Women used more traditional methods than salon care. But this clearly did not apply to the stars of Soviet cinema. Although there were fewer plastic surgeons in Russia at that time than there were fingers on our hands, there was no stopping women from striving for eternal beauty.

Lyudmila Gurchenko had her first plastic surgery in the 1970s. She then corrected the shape of her nose. Apparently, the surgeon impressed the actress so much with his work that she became obsessed with plastic surgery.

During her life, the crowd favorite has undergone more than twenty operations. It was as if she refused to grow old. The procedures the Soviet star underwent included facelifts, eyelid surgery, fillers and Botox injections. The result of these procedures is noticeable even with the naked eye. The once sweet and lively face has turned into a mask. Yet it often happens that plastic surgery becomes an addiction rather than a necessity.
