This is the first teaser trailer for an upcoming independent dark comedy about blackmail titled Crumb collector. A revolutionary device that will never let your dinner conversation sour due to waiter interruptions… OR At least that’s what the inventor, John, claims (Giovanni Speredakos), an overeager waiter who knocks on the door of newlyweds Shane (Rigo Garay) and Lia (Ella Rae Peck) in the middle of the night. Armed with the exclusive and precious drawing of him and his grumpy wife Rose (Lorena Farris) at his side, John insists that the couple listen to his proposal. Things are already tense between rich girl Leah, a rising publishing star, and aspiring writer Shane, and they’re only made worse as the disruption quickly increases in intensity.
The film comes from a debut director Chris Skotchdopole, and it seems like a wonderfully strange and wacky film. The film will have its world premiere at Fantastic Fest 2023 this month and will also screen at the Woodstock Film Festival this fall.
