Starz has canceled one of its series, which includes Stefano Amell’S Heelswith Blindspotting, Rule the worldAND The veneration of Samantha Bird, which was shut down during the strikes and never aired its first season. There were only two episodes left to shoot in the first season, but Starz obviously didn’t feel the need to finish what he started.
Heels ran for two seasons and was a really great show! The series followed the professional wrestlers of the Duffy Wrestling League, a small independent promotion in Georgia. Jack Spade (Amell) inherited the league from his father and the story followed him as he fought to keep it afloat while also trying to take it to the next level.
Blindspotting it was based on the film of the same name. Jasmine Cephas Jones she reprized her role from the film as Ashley. “Ashley is struggling for a middle-class life in Oakland until Miles (Raffaele Casal), her partner of 12 years and father of their child, is locked up unexpectedly.”
Rule the world followed a group of friends living in Harlem as they navigate life, careers, and relationships. The show was the protagonist Amber Stevens West, Bresha WebbAND Corbin Reid.
The veneration of Samantha Bird he would act Catherine Langford as the title character. In the series, “Samantha, while visiting family in New England, reconnects with her childhood sweetheart and dives headfirst into a seemingly perfect storybook romance. But the couple’s perfect love story isn’t as sweet as it seems on the surface.”
The only show I watched all the way through was Heels. I liked it and it’s a shame that it has come to an end.
