Hulu has released a trailer for its upcoming body horror film Appendix, which will be part of Hulu’s Huluween 2023 celebration. As you will see in the trailer, the film looks like a disturbing story that is sure to make viewers go crazy.
In the movie “Hannah (Hadley Robinson), a young fashion designer, seems fine on the surface, but secretly struggles with debilitating insecurities. Soon these buried feelings begin to make Hannah physically ill and sprout into a ferocious growth on her body: the Appendix.
As Hannah’s health worsens, “The Appendix begins to fuel her anxieties – her perceived lack of talent at work, the deterioration of her relationships with her boyfriend and best friend, and the lack of love and understanding from her his parents. At her breaking point, Hannah makes a shocking discovery: There are others out there like her.
The film marks Anna Zlokovic’s directorial debut and is based on her 2021 short film of the same name. The Next Movie Stars Hadley Robinson, Emily Hampshire, Kausar MohammedAND Brandon Mychal Smith.
Appendix was developed by 20th Digital Studio and will be released on October 2.
