The film is based on the Roth-directed fake trailer for the 2017 film Grindhouse. The story centers on a killer who “creates his own platter with the residents of a Massachusetts town that makes a big annual fuss on the annual turkey day.”
The cast includes AddisonRae (He is all of that) in the main role, Patrick Dempsey, Jalen Thomas Brooks (Walker), Milo Mannheim (Zombie), Nell Verlaque (Big hit), Gina Gershon (chucky), Tim Dillon AND Rick Hoffmann (Hostel).
Roth wrote the screenplay with Jeff Rendell. Roger Birnbaum and Eli Roth are producing. Thanksgiving will be released in theaters on November 17, 2023.
