The scripts are already ready for ONCE PIECE season 2 and it could premiere in a year

The live-action adaptation of A piece was a huge hit for Netflix and is currently the number one series. It’s safe to say that Season 2 will take place and we’ll see the great swashbuckling adventures of Monkey D. Luffy continue!

The series comes from Tomorrow Studios and CEO Marty Adelstein recently offered an optimistic update on season two saying that the scripts are ready and that it could premiere in a year. Adelstein shared, “We have the scripts ready. Realistically, hopefully, a year from now, if we move very quickly, and that’s a possibility.” Becky Clements shared. “In a year to 18 months we could be ready for air.”

Now, it all depends on what happens with the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. The first season of One Piece was an incredibly entertaining show, and I hope that the second season ends up being just as great. They can take their time as long as they can deliver another top-notch chapter to such an entertaining story.

One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy (Inaki Godoy) and his pirate crew as they explore a fantasy world of endless oceans and exotic islands in search of the world’s greatest treasure known as “One Piece” to become the next Pirate King.

Other main characters include Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero Gibson) and Sanji (Taz Skylar).

Steven Maeda is co-writer, showrunner and executive producer of the series along with Matt Owens, who also serves as co-writer and executive producer. The series is also the protagonist Morgan Davis (Dead Evil) in the role of Koby, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino (The sexual life of university students) like Alvida, Aidan Scott (Action point) like Helmeppo, Jeff Ward (Tricks) as Buggy, McKinley Belcher III (Ozarks) as Arlong, and Vincenzo Regan (Troy) like Garp.
