A new trailer has been released for FX American Horror Story: delicate and this offers some real story details and offers real footage from the series. The next chapter of the story presents Emma Roberts, Cara DelevingneAND Kim Kardashian in the lead roles and is based on the book Delicate Condition by Danielle Valentine.
In the new season, “The Push meets The Silent Patient in a gripping thriller that follows a woman convinced that a sinister figure will do anything to make sure her pregnancy never happens – while the men in her life refuse to believe a word of it of what he says. .” It looks like she’s going to take fans of the series on quite an empowered and twisted journey.
Here is the official synopsis of the book:
Anna Alcott desperately wants to have a family. But as she tries to balance her increasingly public life as an independent actress with a grueling IVF journey, she begins to suspect that someone is going to great lengths to make sure that never happens. Vital medicines are lost. Dates are exchanged without her knowledge. His cryptic warnings cause her to jump into the shadows. And despite everything she went through to make this pregnancy a reality, not even her husband is willing to believe that someone is playing with her.
Then the doctor tells her she had a miscarriage, except Anna is convinced she’s still pregnant despite everything the serious men around her say. She can feel the baby moving inside her, she can see the strain it is placing on her weakened body. Vague warnings become direct threats as someone chases her through the squalid ghost town of the snowy Hamptons. As her symptoms and her sense of danger become more and more terrifying, Anna can’t help but wonder what exactly she carries inside her… and why no one will listen to her when she says something is horribly, painfully wrong.
The next episode will be written and produced by Halley Feiffer, who will also serve as showrunner. This marks Feiffer’s last collaboration with the producer Ryan Murphy after being one of the writers of Impeachment: American Crime Story.
American Horror Story: delicate premieres September 20th at 9pm ET/PT on FX.
