THE WALKING DEAD spin-offs and INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE series to resume production after AMC reaches agreement with SAG-AFTRA

Walking Dead spin off Daryl Dixon AND Those who liveas well as Vampire interview will resume production after AMC Networks strikes deals with SAG-AFTRA. The three shows are part of tentative deals with the network that will allow filming to resume on the three high-profile series.

It is understood that these agreements are specific to these three shows, rather than a general agreement between the company and the guild. AMC Networks, which produces the shows through AMC Studios, confirmed the deals with Deadline, but didn’t comment further.

The deal revealed Thursday represents the most significant TV property to reach such a deal since the actors departed. Other series in the tentative chords list include faith series The chosen one; Apple TV+ Tehran, which was granted a deal due to its international nature; AND Hal and Harperan independent series of Really smooth Cha Cha director and star Cooper Raiff hero Lili Reinhart AND Mark Ruffalo.

Deadline brings it back Vampire interview will resume filming its second season in Prague, while The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will shoot its second season in Europe. The Walking Dead: Those Who Livewhat stars Andrew Lincoln AND Danai Gurira reprising their roles of Rick and Michonne, they still have work to do in post-production, including ADR.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will launch its first season on September 10. He is the protagonist Norman Reedus after his character lands in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series follows his journey through a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. During the journey, the connections he forms along the way complicate his final plan.

In addition to Reedus, the series stars Clémence Poésy, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romain Levi AND Luigi Puech Scigliuzzi and is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunner David Zabel, Reedus, Greg Nicotero, Angela Kang, Brian Bockrath and Daniel Percival.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is the fifth spinoff of the TWD universe and consists of six episodes.

The Walking Dead: Those Who Live will conclude the character arcs of Rick Grimes and Michonne. The series features an epic love story of two characters changed by a changed world. Separated by distance, unstoppable power and ghosts of what they used to be. Rick and Michonne are catapulted into another world, one built on a war against the dead…and, ultimately, a war against the living. Will they be able to find each other and find who they were in a different place and situation than they had ever known before? Are they enemies? lovers? Victims? Winners? Without each other, are they still alive – or will they discover that they, too, are The Walking Dead?

The spin-off is expected to premiere in 2024.

Vampire interview suspended production on the second season in July.

Rolin Jones’ gothic horror TV series has been filming mainly in Prague since April and stars the British Assad Zaman, Jacob Anderson AND Delainey HaylesAustralia Sam Reidalong with Americans like Eric Bogosian.

Based on the 1976 novel by Anna Ricewhich spawned a 1994 film starring Tom Cruise AND Brad Pittthe series follows vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Anderson) who recounts his life with his creator Lestat de Lioncourt and teenage vampire Claudia to veteran journalist Daniel Molloy, accompanied by the ancient vampire Armand.

The show was given a makeover ahead of its premiere in October last year.
