Paramount+ has released the final trailer for Landman Season 2, and it looks like another compelling chapter Taylor Sheridanit’s an oil saga the size of Texas. The hit series will return in November.
Filmed entirely on location in Texas, Landman dives deep into the high-stakes and morally dark world of oil exploration and power. Billy Bob Thornton returns as Tommy Norris, the rough oilman at the center of the story, based on the Boomtown podcast from Christian Wallace.
As the trailer teases, “You think you understand how this business works, but you don’t.” Season two picks up after the shocking events of last year’s cliffhanger, with Tommy under even more pressure both at home and at M-Tex Oil.
Cami is pushing him harder than ever and the tension is rising. “Things are heating up this season Landman. Tommy faces new pressures at home and also at M-Tex Oil, where Cami pushes him to the brink. Don’t be surprised if something – or someone – breaks.”
In addition to Thornton, the returning cast includes Demi Moore, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chavez, Kayla Wallace, Marco CollieAND Giacomo Giordano.
Season 2 also introduces some major new faces, including Colm Feore, Andy Garciaand the legendary Sam Elliottwhich should further increase the intensity.
Created and written by Sheridan e Christian Wallacethe show continues Sheridan’s fascination with exploring the rougher aspects of American industries and the people who thrive, or fail, within them.
Expect lots of crime, corruption and Texas grit when Landman Season 2 begins streaming on Paramount+ on November 16, 2025.
