When I first saw DC The flash, the very ending of the film felt a bit strange. I later learned that the ending of the first screenings of the film had been changed to avoid spoilers.
The scene takes place after Barry’s father is cleared and Bruce Wayne calls Barry out of court. In this first part of the film, instead of seeing George Clooney step out of the approaching vehicle, it is an invisible figure. Then it cuts to Barry saying, “Who the fuck is this?” and then the film cuts to black.
Of course, they didn’t want it to get out that George Clooney had reprised his role as Bruce Wayne. The studio originally wanted Cristiano Balla for this scene, but he refused to come back and I don’t blame him.
In the end, it didn’t matter what happened in this film or who appeared in it. The film was a box office success and I think it’s safe to say that we won’t see a sequel to the film. However, the director of the film Andy Muschietti is set to direct Batman: The brave and the bold.
Check out the first cut of the finale below and let us know what you think.
