Scream! Studios has released a trailer for an upcoming neo-western thriller film titled Census, and this looks like a solid film indeed! The trailer teases a very funny and clever film with a lot of energy! I really like what I’m seeing here and I’m actually really excited to watch it!
In the film, “A man in a deadly situation recounts how he got there. One shot at a time. A gun is aimed at Kat’s head. It’s her gun. Or at least it was after he escaped a chain gang and l Luckily for him, though, it’s not fully loaded. But how many bullets are left? He can’t quite remember. And now, with an unknown assailant pulling the trigger, Kat is forced to remember exactly what happened to each gunshots, memories of wild animal attacks, run-ins with an impulsive police officer, a down-to-earth arms dealer and her former lover resurface.As the pressure builds, Kat must figure out how many shots are left and trying to come up with a plan to escape… again.
Census is co-directed by Ben Burgart AND Jacopo Burghart, who are making their directorial debut after directing a few short films. The film is the protagonist Aaron Yakubenko, Ryan Kwanten, Melanie Zanetti, Davis DeRock, Chris Bylsma, Addam BramichAND Jeffrey Staab.
Scream! Studios will release the film in select theaters and on VOD beginning September 29, 2023.
