THE CREATOR Gets Two Exciting New TV Spots and a Featurette: ‘We Should Never Have Let AI Go Outside the Box’

We have two TV commercials to watch Gareth Edwards'(Rogue One, Godzilla) fantastic looking sci-fi movie The creator. The film is a post-apocalyptic thriller set in a future ruled by a war between humans and AI robots. These TV spots offer a chilling depiction of the robot’s rise to supremacy, and it says in the trailer, “We should never have let AI go out of the way.”

I’ve also included a behind-the-scenes featurette where the cast and crew talk about the film and the story it tells. It also offers some exciting footage from the film. Looks like this movie is going to be so damn good!

The film tells a story on an epic scale, set in the distant future after a “catastrophic and apocalyptic war” between humans and artificial intelligence. John David Washington he stars in the film as a character who is tasked with saving the world, but may have to kill an AI robot child to do so.

The film is based on an original story and screenplay Edwards wrote with Chris Weitzand the synopsis reads: “In the midst of a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence, Joshua (Washington), a hardened former special forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife (Chan), is recruited to hunt down and slay the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end war…and humanity itself.

It is explained: “Joshua and his team of elite operatives journey across enemy lines, into the dark heart of AI-occupied territory… only to find that the end-of-the-world weapon they have been ordered to destroy is an AI in the form of a child. “

The film is also the protagonist Gem Chan (Eternals), Ken Watanabe (Start), Sturgill Simpson (Dog), Madeleine Yuna Voyles AND Allison Janney (I, Tony). The creator hits theaters September 29!
