The Asylum has released the first trailer for its new film Sharksploitation Megalodon: Frenzywhich is their mockbuster rip off The Meg 2: The Trench.
In the film, “When a frenzy of five Megalodonts torments the open ocean, the stakes have never been higher.” You can expect a lot of blood, chaos, death and insanely bad dialogue. I wouldn’t be surprised if The Asylum has AI writing their scripts.
Megalodon: The Frenzy is directed by Brendan Petrizzoand the cast includes Caroline Williams AND Eric Roberts next to Jessica Chancellor, Jeff Daniels, Alex Trumble, Javier Luna, Ben Formella, Chase Hamilton, Jordan Hubbard, Victoria Grant, Sharon Desiree, Liam Hawley, Jordy Tulleners, AND Sarah Fraser.
The film will be available on digital platforms starting August 18. It will also be released in select theaters in the United States on August 25.
