Anthony Michael Sala recently admitted during a panel at Fan Expo Chicago that while filming the 1983 comedy classic National Lampoon Holiday, tried to sneak onto the set to watch her co-star Beverly D’Angelo film a nude shower scene. But he was finally caught in the process!
Hall was joined on the panel by D’Angelo along with Christie Brinkley, Randy QuaidAND Dan Barron at the event. During the panel, D’Angelo and Brinkley talked about how, to this day, fans approach them to talk about watching their nude scenes in the film.
D’Angelo said, “I have a lot of guys saying I was the first breast they saw.” Brinkley added, “Someone came up to my booth yesterday and said, ‘I love you in nude scenes.'” It looks so embarrassing.
Anyway, Barron, who played Rusty’s sister Audrey, then proceeded to throw Hall under the bus saying he got caught trying to sneak onto set and watch D’Angelo film a nude shower scene on set . Hall later admitted it was all true.
He went on to say, “Should I pick up the story right here? So, I got busted for trying to sneak onto set while Beverly was shooting the shower scene. She later cited the SAG-AFTRA strike as the reason she declined to offer any further details on the story.
Barron also shared with fans that Brinkley wasn’t actually naked during that pool scene in the movie with Chase. She said, “Christie was wearing a dress that made her look naked, but she wasn’t naked because she was, or is, a supermodel and you don’t want to give everything away, she said.”
D’Angelo jokingly adds, “I’m still realizing that I’m the only person who is truly naked. Now I’m thinking back on my whole life.”
