Barbie it continues to blow up at the box office and the latest issues prove it has surpassed it The dark Knight as Warner Bros.’ the release of the highest-grossing domestic film! Barbie has now grossed $537.5 million in the US which is incredibly impressive! Most viewers obviously love the movie!
In case you’re curious, Christopher Nolan’S The dark Knight grossed $536 million over the course of its theatrical domestic run. This actually makes Barbie the highest-grossing home release in Warner Bros. history, and it’s still making money!
I went to the theater last weekend and there were still loads of people all in pink going to see Barbie. The movie has definitely hit the audience and they love it. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of lessons Hollywood studios draw from this because you know we’re going to see a wave of toy-based movies that miss the mark and have the same effect as Barbie.
Barbie i just had a perfect combination of a lot of things and Greta Gervig he was able to create something fun that strangely works, and I mean that in a good way. Love at first sight with this film is not an easy thing to do, but Gerwing, Margot Robbie, Ryan Goslingand his team did it.
The film is on track to overtake The Super Mario Bros. Movie as the top-grossing domestic film of the year. It became the fastest Warner Bros. film to reach the $1 billion movie club.
Barbie’s digital release date has also been set for September 5, 2023. The film is currently available for pre-order in 4K digital on Amazon Video, Google Play, iTunes, Microsoft Store and Vudu. As of right now, no physical home release has been set for the film.
You can bet Barbie will get a sequel, and the creative team involved will be making some insanely big cash when they come to the table to negotiate that deal.
