McDonald’s is doing something very different with its marketing strategy as it rolls out its new “As Featured In Meal” deal. They have released a trailer for this new offering and the trailer focuses on many of the times McDonlad’s has appeared in movies and TV shows.
So what exactly is “As Featured In Meal”? It is a “collection of fan-favorite menu items that have made iconic appearances in film, television and music.” I know, but they are trying to try something different.
The trailer features movies and TV shows like The fifth element, Reality bites, the office, Fallen angels, The longest courtyard, Paris with Love, Arriving in America, The devil is a part-timer, 30 Rock, Loki, and more. It’s quite funny that they have collected every single reference to McDonald’s in any movie and series.
McDonald’s is launching its “As Featured In Meal” promotion starting August 14, 2023. Will this make you eat at McDonald’s!? It’s been a long time since I’ve been to McDonald’s, and I don’t think this will make me come back, but I love that they’re enjoying the movies!
