While Walking Dead the legacy series has come to an end, the franchise lives on and is as strong as ever as AMC is launching several spin-off shows. One such show centers on fan-favorite character Daryl Dixon (Norman Redus). It is entitled Daryl Dixon and a new promotional spot has been released that teases the character’s ongoing journey.
In the series, “Daryl washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series follows his journey through a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, however, the connections he makes along the way complicate his final plan.
The promo comes with the tagline “His road home is paved with redemption.” So what brought Daryl to this current point in his life—according to him, “a bunch of bad decisions”—had a lot to do with it.
The clip also features a co-star Clémence Poésy, who explains that it was “destroyed to the end of the world”. The trailer also features a post-apocalyptic France that has clearly been through hell.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon stars Adam Nagaitis, Anna Carrier, Erik Ebouaney, Laika Blanc Francard, Romano LeviAND Louis Puech Scigliuzzi. The series will debut on September 10 on AMC and AMC+.
