Creepy trailers for creepy Korean folk horror thriller SEIRE

I have here two trailers for you to watch for a bizarre new Korean folk horror film titled Seire. The film is about the belief that babies are “exclusively vulnerable to bad luck, curses” and “evil spirits” in the first 21 days after birth.

In Korean folk traditions, “’seire’ is the twenty-one days after a child is born in which they are especially vulnerable to bad luck, curses and even evil spirits. Many superstitions surround these first three weeks in a baby’s life, and new mother Hae-mi follows each of them closely. Father Woo-jin is willing to reluctantly play along, but when he attends an ex-girlfriend’s funeral, he unknowingly opens the door to dark supernatural dangers.

The skeptic Woo-jin is then plagued by terrible nightmares and “gradually begins to understand the custom of seire, as he is forced to unravel the mystery of what is haunting him and his family.”

The film comes from the director Kung Park and it looks like he made a really good and chilling horror movie. I have no idea when the film will be released in the US.
