Netflix has released a new featurette for Zack Snyderit is highly anticipated Star Warsinspired movie rebel moon. The video gives fans a great behind-the-scenes look at the film and also includes interviews with the cast and crew, including Sophia Botella, Charlie Hunnam, Ed Skrein, Bae DoonaAND Djimon Hounsou.
Snyder says in the featurette, “This movie, to me, has been around for basically 20 years. It’s a story of few versus many, impossible odds, good versus evil. I’m getting a chance to tell a story that I’ve been thinking about for quite a while.” bit’.”
The story is set in a “peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy that finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius. They send a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from nearby planets to help them make a stand against the Tyrant.
Snyder previously spoke about the project, saying, “This is me growing up like Akira Kurosawa fan, a Star Wars fan. It’s my love of sci-fi and a giant adventure. My hope is that this too becomes a huge IP and a universe that can be built.”
This is a two-part movie, and there’s so much that was heavily inspired by Star Wars. This is basically Zack Snyder’s Star Wars movie and I’m excited to see how the story unfolds!
The film is also the protagonistRay Fisher, Jena Malone, Ed Skrein, Stuart Martin, Cary Elwes, Corey Stoll, Michiel Huismann, Anthony Hopkins, AND Alfonso Herrera.
Part before rebel moon is scheduled to arrive on Netflix on December 22 after a limited theatrical release.
