Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming sci-fi epic series 3 body problemwhich comes from the team that brought us HBO game of ThronesDavid Benioff AND DB Weiss. It looks like a pretty spectacular and visually interesting series! Hopefully they can get the ending.
According to Netflix’s logline for the sci-fi series, “A young woman’s fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time to a group of brilliant scientists in the present day. As the laws of nature unravel before their eyes, five former colleagues reunite to face the greatest threat in human history.
The series is the protagonist Jess Hong, Benedict Wong, Eiza Gonzalez, Jovan Adepo, Alex Sharp, John Bradley, Saamer Usmani, Liam Cunningham, Rosalind Chao, Jonathan Pryce, Marlo Kelly, Sea Shimooka, Ben Schnetzer AND Zine Tseng.
Rian Johnson, Brad Pitt, AND Rosamund Pike they also serve as producers of the series. Benioff, Weiss e Alexander Wo wrote the series and serves as showrunner.
The eight-episode series is based on the book series by Cixin Liu and will cover all three books in the trilogy, which include The three-body problem, The Dark ForestAND End of death.
The books tell the story of what happens “as mankind discovers they are not alone in the universe and prepares for an alien force arriving from a distant and inhospitable world. The title refers to the aliens’ star system, which has three stars that orbit each other in such a way that an Earth-like planet between them continues to experience extremely hot and cold temperatures, repeatedly wiping out its civilizations smart.
