Netflix has shared four photos from its upcoming live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender! These photos offer a first look Gordon Cormier like Ang, Kiawentiio Tarbell like Katara, Ian Ousley such as Sokka, e Dallas Liu like Zuco. Check out the photos below and let us know what you think!
Aang is “a fearless, fun-loving 12-year-old who just happens to be the Avatar, master of all four elements and keeper of balance and peace in the world. An airbending prodigy, Aang is a reluctant hero, struggling to shoulder the burden of his duties while maintaining his adventurous and playful nature.
Zuko is “a skilled firebender and the intense, guarded crown prince of the Fire Nation. Currently traveling the world in exile, he is on an obsessive quest to capture the Avatar because he believes it is the only way to claim his life and satisfy the demands of his cruel and overbearing father, the Fire Lord.
Katara is “a determined and hopeful waterbender, the last one in her small village. Although she is only fourteen years old, she has already endured a great personal tragedy, which has prevented her from reaching her true potential, even if it has never dulled her warm and caring spirit of her.
Sokka is “Katara’s sardonic and enterprising 16-year-old brother. Seemingly confident, even brash, she takes his responsibility seriously as leader of her tribe, despite her inner doubts about his abilities as a warrior… doubts she masks with his wit and deadpan sense of humor.
