Earlier this week, it was announced that Disney is developing a Hocus Pocus 3 for Disney+. We now know that the director of the second film, Anna Fletcherand its writer, Jen D’Angelohe will be back to make this next film.
It is currently unknown whether the original stars Bette Midler, Kathy NajimyAND Sarah Jessica Parker we will be back again for Hocus Pocus 3, but it seems like they would be the studio’s biggest draw in committing to making another one. It’s also unknown if any other actors from the first film who skipped the sequel will show up for this one. It would be a lot of fun to see them come back, but if they don’t come back, I bet we’ll still have a fun movie. Hocus Pocus 2 it was a nice return to the franchise after 29 years.
We’ll keep you posted as news for the sequel rolls in, but for now I’m assuming they’re rolling for an October 2024 release. Hocus Pocus 3?
