Peacock has released the first clip for his upcoming series adaptation of the hit video game Twisted metal, and that actually gives us our best look at what to expect from the insane series! The characteristics of the video Antonio MacchieJohn Doe’s character gets his ass kicked by Sweet Tooth in a casino!

I am thrilled with this series! I grew up playing that incredibly fun original game with my brothers on PlayStation. It looks like this series will capture the craziness of that game we all loved! All I was hoping for was that this series would capture the spirit of the game, and I think the creative team will deliver.

Hope you enjoy the clip below! The series will be released on July 27.

The series follows a motorized-mouthed stranger named John Doe, “who is offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of a trigger-happy car thief, he faces savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other perils of the open road, including a deranged clown named Sweet Tooth who drives an all-too-familiar ice cream truck. .

The cast also includes Joe Seanoaaka Samoa Joe, who will play the dual role of Sweet Tooth, a character to be voiced by Will Arnet. Sweet Tooth is “a hilarious and terrifying man who is as emotional as he is cunning. A lover of mayhem, this majestic, rage-filled killer dons an ever-smiling clown mask and uses “Lost Vegas” as his personal killing ground, all while driving his infamous doomsday ice cream truck.

Other cast members include Mike Mitchell (Tomorrow’s war, love), Tahj Vaughans (P-valley), Lou Beatty Jr. (A Million Little Things, NCIS) e Riccardo Cabral (Maya MC, American Crime).

Mitchell plays Stu, “best friends with Mike, the Rosencrantz and Guildensterns of this world, and together they often find themselves more followers than fighters.”
